Important Notes

Raw Ore Blocks

All ore blocks can be smelted in both regular furnaces and blast furnaces for 9x longer than their respective individual forms when being smelted.

Blast Furnace Recipes

Most block furnaces recipes can also be smelted in the blast furnace for a half as long time. This includes the following:

Cobblestone -> Stone
Stone -> Smooth Stone
Stone Bricks -> Cracked Stone Bricks
Cobbled Deepslate -> Deepslate
Deepslate Bricks -> Cracked Deepslate Bricks
Deepslate Tiles -> Cracked Deepslate Tiles
Netherrack -> Nether Brick
Nether Bricks -> Cracked Nether Bricks
Polished Blackstone Bricks -> Cracked Polished Blackstone Bricks
Clay Ball -> Brick
Clay -> Terracotta
Terracotta -> Glazed Terracotta
Sand -> Glass
Red Sand -> Glass
Sandstone -> Smooth Sandstone
Red Sandstone -> Smooth Red Sandstone
Basalt -> Smooth Basalt
Quartz Block -> Smooth Quartz Block

Stonecutter Recipes

Most blocks also allow you to use a stonecutter to translate them into other forms. This includes wood. You can also use a stonecutter to reverse a block to its original form (stair -> whole block).
